Yes, the data is encrypted via SSL prior to being sent to our servers.
Our developers and support team can only read the last 4 digits of the serial #. This helps us with user support without exposing your information.

Not easily. The reason is that we do not have the ability to see your password as it is hashed. The only method we could utilize to decrypt the information would be to reset your password. If we did this, you would know because your password has been changed. We do not have the ability to see your password under any circumstance. Even if you write in and request help, our only course of action is to help you reset the password.
We use your password as this code. We do require password double entry when viewing the serial # to heighten security.
Absolutely! We have an optional paid membership option that allows you to sync your data to our servers as a backup as well as to any other devices you wish to login with. We're working on a full blown iPad app, but for now you can access it via the iPhone app or via https://ccwguardian.com/app

By default we only ask for your email address. You never have to provide your full name (even if you become a member).
